A man found dead in Moray may have been struck by a vehicle, police have said.

John Geddes, 33, had been reported missing from the Lossiemouth area last week.

His body was found on Sunday and the A941 road near Lossiemouth was closed between the B9103 and the B9135 as a result.

Police Scotland said officers believed Mr Geddes may have been struck by a vehicle. A car and its driver have been traced and inquiries are continuing.
