Woman hit by van will be missed, says family

A pedestrian who died when she was hit by a van has been named by police.

Kim Haile died after she was struck by the vehicle on Church Street in Blaina, Blaenau Gwent, on Saturday, 18 January.

Her family said she "will be sadly missed" and "leaves behind a massive hole in our huge family".

The driver of the van, a 31-year-old man from Blaina, is helping officers with their inquiries.

Gwent Police has appealed for any witnesses to get in touch.
