Woman arrested after child, 8, dies

A 40-year-old woman has been arrested following the death of an eight-year-old child.
Cleveland Police said its officers were called by the North East Ambulance Service regarding a child's death at Marsh House Avenue, Billingham, Teesside, on Monday at about 10:00 BST.
The death is being treated as "unexplained", police confirmed, and no other details have been released.
The woman arrested in connection with the child's death is currently being questioned and the investigation continues.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Our thoughts are with the family of the child during this very difficult time."
