Motorcyclist dies after crash at roundabout

The motorcyclist died in hospital six days after the crash

A motorcyclist has died six days after a crash at a roundabout near the M69 motorway in Leicestershire.
The crash, involving a black BMW R1250 GS and a black Audi A1, occurred on the roundabout for the B4109 and A5 - under junction 1 of the motorway - just after 13:25 BST on 14 August.
The motorcyclist, a 57-year-old man, was taken to hospital but later died, Leicestershire Police said.
No-one else was injured, the force added.
Police appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or saw either vehicle beforehand to get in touch.
