Heartbroken family members have paid tribute to a "vibrant", "wonderful" and "deeply cherished" woman, after she was struck and killed by a car on Christmas Eve.
Ruth Myers, 65, was hit on Palmerston Road in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, at about 19:30 GMT.
In a joint statement, her family said: "She was taken from us far too soon, and her sudden passing is a heartbreaking loss."
A 20-year-old man and two teenagers arrested in connection with her death have been bailed.
The statement continued: "Ruth was a vibrant, wonderful and elegant person, deeply cherished by her family, friends, and colleagues.
"No words can truly capture what a special person she was, her dedication to her work at Liberty of London reflected her hard-working nature, but above all, she was the cornerstone of our family.
"She leaves behind a cherished husband, loving siblings and adoring nieces and nephews, who will forever hold her in their hearts and will live with the pain of not having her here with us forever."
Det Sgt Sam Nason has urged anyone who might have information about the crash to come forward and help with inquiries.
He said: "In particular, I need anyone who saw or has footage of a grey Jaguar XJ around the time of the collision in Buckhurst Hill and Chingford."
Officers arrested a man, 20, from Loughton; a boy, 17, from Dagenham and a boy, 16, from Chingford, on suspicion of a number of driving offences, including causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
The 20-year-old was released on bail until 13 March, while the teenagers were bailed until 14 March.
