A zombie parade will be among the highlights of a free Halloween event in Hull city centre.
Called the Hulloween Spooktacular, it will bring storytelling, a disco, crafts and face painting to Trinity Market, in the Old Town, on 31 October from 10:00 to 17:00 GMT.
Students from East Riding College, which has opened a new campus in Baker Street, will be leading the zombie walk from 13:30, which will head down Whitefriargate to Princes Quay and back.
Hull City Council has helped pay for the event. Councillor Rob Pritchard said it would be a "fantastic" day "without costing families a penny".
Hannah Levy and Patrick Jr, from the YouTube channel Storytime with Hannah and Patrick, are due to lead Halloween-themed storytelling sessions at 10:00 and 12.30.
Ms Levy said they would be "sharing a spooky picture book", with the story "brought to life on screen with music, lots of character voices, and plenty of Halloween fun".
Kathryn Shillito, from organiser HullBID, said there had been a "fantastic response" with "lots of families booking to come along and join in the fun".
Booking, external is not essential, but organisers said it would help them to understand how many people to expect.
Families can also take part in a free pumpkin trail, with 15 letters located in shop windows around the city centre, from 27 October to 1 November.
Trail sheets can be collected from participating businesses or the Visit Hull pod in Paragon Interchange.
