Two men have been charged after almost 350 wraps of suspected Class A drugs were seized when a car was stopped in Wolverhampton.

The vehicle was pulled over on Penn Road after West Midlands Police officers spotted suspicious activity on nearby Graisley Row on Friday morning. The occupants in the car tried to flee but were detained, the force said.

Searches uncovered 348 small packets believed to be heroin and crack cocaine.

Two men aged 25 and 42 have been charged with possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply and are due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court on Monday.
