Guernsey's Boxing Day Dip is expected to raise more than £10,000 for charity, organisers say.
The annual event raised money for Guernsey Cheshire Home, a charity which provides support for physically disabled people.
Hundreds of people took part in the event, which was held on 26 December at Cobo Bay, with many wearing fancy dress.
Rob Shepherd, chairman of the Guernsey Cheshire Home, said the dip was the charity's "biggest fundraiser of the year" and would help it "maintain the vital care we provide for our residents and those seeking respite services".

Organisers expect donations to top more than £10,000
Organisers said online donations were still coming in but "early indicators" showed the total was expected to be more than £10,000.
Charlotte Dunsterville, from sponsors Skipton International, said the event showcased "the best of Guernsey".
The Guernsey Cheshire Home said it had one aim - "to provide care and opportunity for people with serious physical disabilities in as close to a family atmosphere as possible".
Organisers added the home was funded by donations which covered operating costs and essential care.
