A11 northbound reopens after lorry crash
- Published
A major road has reopened after a lorry overturned and caused a diesel spill.
National Highways said it would need to carry out overnight emergency resurfacing work on the northbound carriageway of the A11 near Norwich as part of a road closure that was already planned for Thursday evening.
Emergency services were called on Thursday at about 06:45 GMT to the A11, between the B1135 towards Wymondham and the A47 towards Cringleford.
The lorry driver was taken to hospital, said Norfolk Police. No other vehicles were involved and the truck has since been cleared.
