Police officer charged with child sex offence

The 32-year-old is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on 29 November

A serving police officer has been charged with a sex offence and suspended from duty.
PC Daniel Hunt is accused of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child following an incident in Wallingford in December 2023.
The Thames Valley Police officer had been stationed at Maidenhead Police Station before being arrested in January.
The 32-year-old is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on 29 November.
