A large fire at a property with a thatched roof has been extinguished after fire crews from across Oxfordshire responded to the blaze.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service responded to the incident at a property in Kirtlington, near Bicester, on Monday at about 17:35 BST after the building's thatched roof caught light.
Ten fire crews worked simultaneously at the height of the incident - which 17 fire appliances responded to.
The building's occupants all escaped safely prior to the arrival of fire crews, and a number of items were salvaged whilst firefighters tackled the blaze, the fire service said.
Crews left the site at about midday on Tuesday, about 18 hours after first responding to the incident.
Staff from Scottish and Southern Electricity, Thames Water and Thames Valley Police also attended the incident.
The fire service said the cause of the fire was under investigation, but was not thought to be suspicious.
