Politicians involved in negotiating Guernsey's new ferry contract will face questions in public next week.

Guernsey confirmed Brittany Ferries as its preferred bidder at the end of October.

The decision by Economic Development will be the "primary focus" of this month’s Scrutiny Committee hearing taking place on Monday.

Committee President Deputy Yvonne Burford said it was a significant matter for all islanders both financially and because of the reliance on frieght.
