A caravan that was stolen in Hampshire in 2019 has been found in Oxfordshire, police have said.

Thames Valley Police Rural Crime Taskforce said officers had noticed a Swift Quattro "tucked away" near Banbury train station on Thursday.

After closer inspection, they managed to identify the vehicle despite the serial numbers having been altered and other distinguishing features removed.

The force said the caravan had been seized and would be returned to its rightful owners.
