Teen charged after two men seriously injured in Aberdeen

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested and charged following an incident in Aberdeen in which two men were injured.

The incident happened on Bon Accord Street about 03:05 on Sunday.

Police Scotland said the 16-year-old is accused of the attempted murder of a 20-year-old man and serious assault of an 18-year-old man. Both men were taken to hospital.

The teenager will appear in court at a later date. Police said a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Det Sgt Emma Low said: "Any information, no matter how small, could help us as we continue our inquiries."

Ch Insp Victoria Stables added the incident will be concerning to the community and there will be extra patrols in the area.
