Cyclist in hospital after hit-and-run crash

A man remains in hospital with serious injuries after a hit-and-run crash involving a cycle and a car.

Humberside Police said the collision happened on the A1033 Hedon bypass towards Thorngumbald in Holderness during the early hours of 18 November.

The force received a report at about 03:00 GMT that a 52-year-old man riding a bike was believed to have collided with a car which did not stop at the scene.

He remains in hospital in a serious condition but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Humberside Police urged anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have dashcam footage to get in touch.
