M11 closes after lorry leaves carriageway

A major motorway has been closed after a lorry left the carriageway.

The M11 was shut northbound between junction 8, near Stansted Airport, Essex, and junction 10, at Duxford in Cambridgeshire.

A spokesperson for National Highways said the closure would allow for vehicle recovery and barrier repair.

Motorists have been advised to follow the diversion route marked with a solid circle symbol on local road signs.
