Three charged with attempted murder over shooting

Three men have been charged with attempted murder after a woman was shot inside a house in Dudley.

Kile Straker, 35, from Wolverhampton, Ethan Colbourne, 22, from Tipton, and Kieron Atkins, 26, from West Bromwich, have also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and theft of a motor vehicle.

Two gunshots were fired at the house on Priory Road on 3 July, with one of the bullets causing the woman to suffer serious injuries.

All three have all been remanded to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Friday.

The woman has since been released from hospital.

West Midlands Police thanked members of the public who helped with the investigation.

A spokesperson said: "We would like to thank the public for coming forward with information about the incident and encourage anyone who hasn't yet got in touch to do so."
