A motorcyclist has died in a crash after she went out to enjoy a bacon roll and coffee with friends.

Nicola Webb, 50, of Peniel, Carmartheshire, died after her black KTM bike was in a crash with a black Volkswagen car on the A4069 between Llangadog and Llandovery on Sunday.

Her family paid tribute to a wife and friend with "a zest for life".

They said she enjoyed walking her dogs, being with friends and riding bicycles and motorcycles.

An NHS worker through most of her working life, her family said she embodied public service.

"She sadly lost her life following one of her joys, riding her motorcycle to meet up with other like-minded friends and have a coffee and a bacon roll," they said.

"She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her."
