A14 closure continues after multiple lorry crash

- Published
Motorists are being advised to continue avoiding part of the A14 in Northamptonshire after three lorries crashed on Monday morning.
The road has been shut westbound between junction 11, for Cranford and Finedon, and junction 10, for Burton Latimer, since about 08:00 BST.
No-one was believed to have sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash, which resulted in a large diesel spill, but emergency services freed a person from their vehicle.
Although a police investigation has concluded, the lorries are still being removed.
Resurfacing work is needed on the road, which is not expected to reopen until after the evening rush hour.
Information on diversions can be found on the National Highways website, external.
