Three people have been arrested after a teenage cyclist was seriously injured in a road traffic collision.

The 16-year-old boy suffered potentially life-changing injuries in the incident, which happened on Peep Green Road in Liversedge at around 21:10 BST on Friday, 2 May.

West Yorkshire Police said it had arrested three men, all of them aged 30, on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Officers said they were still investigating the incident and wanted to hear from anyone who saw a white Volkswagen Touareg with a black sunroof and tinted windows at the rear around the time of the collision.
