A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Yassin Alama, 19, died after being found with serious injuries on Hutton Road in Handsworth, Birmingham, on 16 November.

The suspect was detained at a house in Birmingham on Sunday, and an 18-year-old was also held on suspicion of assisting an offender, West Midlands Police said.

Mr Alama's family had been updated on the development and were being supported by officers, the force added. Police thanked those who had already come forward with information, and asked anyone else who could help to get in touch.
