Man in his 60s dies after van and motorbike crash

A man in his 60s died after a motorbike collided with a van.
It happened on the eastbound lane of Cardington Road, Bedford, near the A421 junction, at about 06:18 BST on Tuesday.
Bedfordshire Police said its officers wanted to speak with the driver of a white HGV that was travelling along the road and may have witnessed the collision.
"Anyone who has information or dash cam footage is asked to contact us online," the force said, asking people to reference "Operation Avalon" in any report.
