Man 'barged into woman and fled with her handbag'

The victim was walking between People's Park and Bargate Avenue, Grimsby, when she was approached by a man on a bike

Police are appealing for information after a man was reported to have "barged" into a woman and stolen her handbag.

Humberside Police said the woman was walking between People's Park and Bargate Avenue, Grimsby, when a man on a bike approached her at about 22:10 BST on 11 September.

He is believed to have barged into her, causing her to fall, before grabbing hold of her handbag and fleeing.

Officers are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage or who was in the area at the time of the incident to get in touch.
