Murder inquiry under way after house fire death

A murder investigation has begun after a woman's body was found following a house fire.
Northamptonshire Police and the county's fire service were called to Newcomen Road in Wellingborough after reports of a blaze at about 03:00 GMT.
Officers found the body of a 43-year-old woman inside and she was declared dead at the scene at 03:30.
Police said a scene guard would remain in place while investigations continued and uniformed officers were conducting house-to-house inquiries in the area.
