Police appeal after pedestrian struck by car

A pedestrian aged in his 60s suffered injuries in the New Year's Eve collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
Essex Police said it was called to High Street in Halstead, Essex, at about 19:10 GMT on Tuesday.
The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, sustained a head injury and a potentially serious shoulder injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to contact officers on 101.
