Boy, 14, and woman hurt in dog attack

A 14-year-old boy and a woman suffered serious arm injuries after being bitten by a dog.

Emergency crews were sent to an address in Haywharf Road in Pensnett, Dudley, at about 11:00 BST.

The boy and the woman, aged in her 40s, were hurt but their injuries were not thought to be life-changing, West Midlands Police said.

The breed of dog has not been revealed by police, but the force confirmed it was seized from the property.

Both patients were taken to Russell’s Hall Hospital, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
