Teenage boy arrested after man assaulted

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a serious assault on a man in Moray.

The incident happened in East Church Street, Buckie, at about 14:20 on Monday.

A 54-year-old man was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital for treatment.

It is not clear how badly injured the man is.

Police said inquiries were continuing.
