Fire fighters said a blaze at a property in Ashford, Kent, was probably caused by a lighter and aerosol being left on a window sill.

The fire broke out in the bathroom of a house in Imperial Way on Wednesday.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service has warned people not to leave flammable objects in direct sunlight.

A spokesperson said the items probably exploded after getting too hot.
