More festive events off due to Storm Darragh

More Christmas events across Shropshire have been cancelled as Storm Darragh makes its way across the country.
Yellow weather warnings for wind are in place over the weekend, with gusts of up to 50mph forecast.
Attingham Park, in Atcham, said it would completely close to all visitors on Saturday for safety reasons.
Oswestry's Christmas Parade, which was due to take place on Saturday, was also called off by Oswestry Borderland Rotary Club.
Attingham Park also announced its Christmas in the Mansion and Attingham at Dusk events on Saturday had been cancelled, as well as its Father Christmas at Sunnycroft event on both Saturday and Sunday.
It added all bookings would be refunded.
The park said it would reopen in phases beginning at 10:00 GMT on Sunday, as its ranger team "carries out essential post-storm safety checks".
"If safe, Attingham Park will only be open for pre-booked ticket holders."
The Victorian Christmas event at Blists Hill Victorian Town in Telford on Saturday was cancelled and the Ironbridge Gorge Trust said it would offer alternative dates for ticket holders.
Additionally, it said Coalport China Museum, Jackfield Tile Museum, and the Old Furnace, also owned by the trust, would close on Saturday.
It added that its museums should open as normal on Sunday.
Ludlow Castle announced it would close fully on Saturday and Sunday.
A spokesperson said its "meet Father Christmas" event would be relocated and those who had booked would be given a free return visit.
There are several flood alerts in place across the county due to the storm.
Transport for Wales said its services may be subject to short notice delays, alterations and cancellations, and urged commuters to check their journeys.
Its 21:29 train from Shrewsbury to Llandrindod on Friday has been cancelled due to the severe weather.
On Thursday, Bridgnorth Town Council delayed its Christmas lights switch-on, which was due to happen on Friday evening.
The council said the lights would be turned on at a safe time over the weekend.
Elsewhere, Madeley Town Council postponed its touring Santa Christmas float on Friday and Saturday, and rescheduled to later dates.
Much Wenlock Christmas Fayre also announced it would no longer be going ahead on Saturday.
