Man airlifted to hospital following A249 crash

A man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Kent.
Police said the crash, which involved a silver Land Rover Discovery and a black BMW 1 Series, happened on the A249, near Stockbury, on Tuesday at 22:05 GMT.
A passenger from the BMW, a man in his 30s, was flown to a London hospital.
A woman in her 30s, who was a passenger in the Land Rover, also sustained serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
Both remain under the care of doctors and in a stable conditions, police says.
A driver of one of the vehicles was also taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
