Man charged with attempted murder after stabbing

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
Nottinghamshire Police said a man in his 40s was assaulted in Kensington Close at about 13:15 BST on Saturday.
The force previously said he had suffered life-threatening injuries, but on Tuesday his condition was described as "serious but stable".
James Pedley, 40, of Elder Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Tracey Hoff, 37, of no fixed address, and Kurt Horton, 33, of Dalestorth Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, have been charged with assisting an offender.
