The Red Arrows took to Manx skies for their traditional visit as part of the Isle of Man TT.

The famous Royal Air Force aerobatic team entertained thousands of spectators over Douglas Bay from 19:30 BST.

The aircraft, which have featured during the TT since 1979, will departed the Royal Air Force Valley in Anglesey at 19:15 before flying over Port Erin and Peel and making their way across to the capital.

Crowds gathered on vantage points including the headlands in the island's capital and Onchan, as well as along Douglas Promenade to witness the colourful display.

The usual TT fireworks display over Douglas Bay is also set to return to mark the end of the event from 23:00 on Saturday.
