An arts charity is looking for two new board members to help further its work.

Chairman of ArtHouse Jersey Sir Stephen Dalton said the board would like to recruit people skilled in generating income, fundraising, financial management and the law.

He said they would welcome applications from candidates with "a passion for the arts".

The deadline for expressions of interest in the non-executive and honorary roles is Sunday 27 April and interviews would take place on Monday 26 May, he added.

'To improve lives'

The aims of ArtHouse Jersey include promoting creativity in education, reducing social isolation, improving mental health and encouraging people to engage with nature.

Sir Stephen said: "We are passionate about enabling access to creativity to improve islanders' lives and positively impact wellbeing."
