Pair stole nurse's car after raiding staff room

Two men who stole a nurse's car after raiding a hospital staff room have been given jail terms.
Nathan Hageman, 44, and Justin Clift, 36, took the keys from the intensive care nurse's bag at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, in Reading, on 22 April.
Both had previous criminal records and were addicted to class A drugs when the theft took place, Reading Crown Court heard.
They were sentenced at the court on Tuesday but walked free because of time already served in custody.
Recorder Clive Broe told Hageman and Clift: "I doubt that you gave [the nurse] a thought."
The court heard that Hageman, from Tilehurst in Reading, had 16 convictions for 45 offences. He was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison.
Clift, of no fixed address, had 13 convictions for 31 offences.
He was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison, which also included a charge of theft from a petrol station in White Lion Road, Amersham, after the vehicle was taken.
The men had been held in custody since they were arrested in April.
