Fire crews are battling a large blaze in barley fields in Devon.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the fire at Kennford at about 14:40 BST.
It said six fire engines were at the scene and about eight to 10 acres of land had been damaged.
The fire service added: "We are working closely with farmers to create fire breaks to prevent escalation."
Paul Slavin of Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service told the BBC the fire had spread to the neighbouring field, which had a domestic property at the end of it.
He said the fire crews were focused on protecting the building.
An area covering 985 x 1,325ft (300 x 400m) which had been full of crops had been burnt, he added.
At 18:00 BST the fire service confirmed firefighters were "making good progress".
