Ministry of Defence road closure starts at Porton
The road goes through the Porton Range

A road closure on a Ministry of Defence section of a Wiltshire road has begun and will run through until 12 July.
Winterslow Road at Porton near Salisbury is closed between 10:00 and 15:00 BST for operational reasons after the junctions leading to the MoD site and up to the A30.
The Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) said diversion signs had been put up for traffic and had apologised for any inconvenience the closure could cause.
The section closed goes through the large Porton Down Range, external, an area of special scientific interest, which is licensed to conduct trials and evaluation activities.
