Cyclist suffers life-threatening injuries in crash

A man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after a crash involving a bike and a car in East Yorkshire, police said.

The crash happened at about 16:10 BST on Wednesday at the roundabout on Quay Road in Bridlington.

The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment, where he currently remains, Humberside Police said.

Anyone with information, or who witnessed the crash, is asked to contact police.
