Penguins visit care home for a flipping good time

Care home residents were treated to a brrr-illiant time when two Humboldt penguins paid them a visit.
Widget, aged seven and Pringle, nine, who live at Heythrop Zoological Gardens in Oxfordshire, waddled between residents at Cedar Mews in Leicester.
The birds, which are medium-sized and originate from South America, were cuddled during the flying visit.
Residents were "overjoyed" by the chance to interact with them, the care home said.

The home said keepers provided clear instructions on how to handle the birds, so all residents had the opportunity to interact with them, including those with dementia and other complex needs.
Jenna Peters, Cedar Mews’ activities coordinator, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to have brought such an unique and joyous experience to our residents.
"It was truly heartening to see the smiles and hear the laughter as Widget and Pringle mingled with everyone."
