Appeal after e-scooter rider stabbed during robbery

A teenager riding an e-scooter was approached by a group of men and stabbed during a robbery, police have said.

Derbyshire Police said the victim - a man in his late teens - was riding in Thorn Street in Normanton when he was approached by a group of about six men.

He was then stabbed, suffering wounds to his back, at about 22:00 BST on Thursday.

He was taken to hospital for treatment but his injuries are not thought to be serious, police added.
