Drivers are being warned to be aware of a new layout on a busy stretch of road near Truro.
Traffic travelling along the A390 will be diverted from the existing section of road at Penstraze through the north side of the new West Langarth roundabout.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place between 19:00 BST until 06:00 on Tuesday to enable the changes to take place.
Once the new layout is in place, the traffic lights are due to be removed and traffic flow continue along the new route.
The changes are connected to the Langarth development
The change to the road layout is part of the Northern Access Road scheme, external, a 3.4km (2.1mile) single carriageway for the new Langarth Garden Village.
Up to 3,500 homes may be built over the next 25 years at the site west of Truro.
The council's contractors Cormac said the change would allow them to link sections of shared use path with the Saints Trail which was completed earlier this year.
