Cyclist suffers broken leg in suspected hit-and-run

Police are trying to find the driver of a car which struck a cyclist then drove away without stopping.
Derbyshire Police said the suspected hit-and-run happened in Stanley Street, Long Eaton, at about 16:30 GMT on Tuesday.
The Toyota Aygo involved was later found abandoned in nearby Gibb Street.
The cyclist, a man in his 40s, suffered a broken leg, the force said.
Police have asked anyone with information about the crash to contact them.
