Police are continuing to investigate an area of a park where human remains were found.

Officers and forensics teams have been at Herschel Park, Slough, Berkshire, following the discovery, shortly after 13:00 BST on Sunday.

No details of the victim have been given by Thames Valley Police.

The force said a "great deal of work" was needed "to find out the identity of the person and exactly what has happened".

Police cordons are expected to remain at the park, adjacent to the M4, for several days.

The force said the death was currently being treated as unexplained.

Anyone with information is being urged to come forward to police.
