Driver dies in two-car crash in Stoke-on-Trent

A man has died in a crash involving two cars in Stoke-on-Trent.
A Dacia Sandero and a Vauxhall Crossland collided on Leek Road, Hanley, near the Lime Kiln traffic lights at about 07:00 GMT on Saturday.
The driver of one of the cars, a man aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital but did not survive, Staffordshire Police said.
They have appealed for any witnesses or people with dashcam footage from the area at about the time of the crash to contact them.
