Man stabbed for the second time in two weeks

A man suffered wounds to his face and arm after being targeted in two separate stabbings in Lancaster.

Police are appealing for information after they were called to St Leonard's Gate at 18:20 BST on Tuesday where the man who had been stabbed in the arm.

The same man, aged in his 20s, had also received a slash wound to his cheek outside Greens pub, North Road, on the morning of Saturday 29 June, Lancashire Police said.

A 42-year-old man from the city has been arrested on suspicion of assault, Lancashire Police said.
