Man arrested after alleged racial abuse on bus

Warwickshire Police has appealed for any witnesses to contact officers

A man has been arrested after an allegation a woman was racially abused on a bus.
Warwickshire Police are investigating the alleged abuse, which happened on the number 1 bus in Leamington Spa, at about 23.00 GMT on Wednesday.
A 73-year-old man from Warwick was arrested on suspicion of committing a racially-aggravated public order offence, officers said.
"Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the altercation," the force added.
The man has been bailed until April while inquiries continue.
