Police say a laser pen was aimed at an aircraft as it came in to land at Inverness Airport last week.

The beam was directed into the cockpit of the plane as it approached the runway at about 03:05 on Thursday.

Police Scotland said the flight crew could have been temporarily blinded in what it called an extremely dangerous and reckless act.
