Teens reported after young fan hurt by pyrotechnic

Two teenagers have been reported to the Children's Reporter after pyrotechnic devices were set off during a football match in the Highlands.

A 13-year-old boy suffered minor injuries in the incident which happened during a match between Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Dundee United on Friday 12 January.

The two, aged 14 and 15, will be reported in connection with possession of a pyrotechnic in a football ground, and culpable and reckless conduct.

Police said pyrotechnics were extremely dangerous and posed a serious risk of harm.
