Guernsey Water has remained on site of a collapsed culvert in St Andrews, to continue repairs.

The culvert outside Little Chapel collapsed on 15 February causing a 1m (3.2ft) hole to form.

The hole has been altered so there is no more standing water, reducing the risk of flooding, but repairs continue.

The team is planning to make changes to help future maintenance.

Jon Holt, Guernsey Water Operations Manager, said: “This has been a challenging piece of work and teams have worked hard to create a solution in a short space of time."

Guernsey Water said its team was working to get the road reopened as soon as possible, but did not have a specific date.
