Attempted murder charge after woman attacked
The woman was attacked at a flat in Greenhill Lane, police said

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was left in a critical condition following an attack in Derbyshire.
Derbyshire Police said the woman, in her 20s, was assaulted in Greenhill Lane, Riddings, in the early hours of Sunday.
She remains in hospital in a critical condition, the force added.
A 30-year-old man, from Riddings, has been remanded in custody and is due before magistrates later.
