Woman dies in fire at supermarket car park

Emergency services were called to Morrisons in Leighton Buzzard on Monday

A woman has died after a vehicle fire in a supermarket car park.

Bedfordshire Police said it was called to Morrisons, on Lake Street, Leighton Buzzard, at about 12:45 BST on Monday.

It said the death was not being treated as suspicious.

"Officers are supporting the woman's family at this time, and the incident has been passed on to the coroner’s office," the force added.
